Position Description (Summer Internship)

Memopal is looking for a Junior Software Engineer to work on developing and maintaining MGFS, our cloud storage infrastructure. The candidate will manage data center operations, new hardware scouting and evaluation, development of data analysis applications, design and implement high- availability clusters based on Linux.

Ideal candidates are young graduates in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, interested in acquiring world-class skills in cloud computing and operations management. Career opportunity available after internship .

Responsibilities:

development and maintenance of the Memopal cloud storage platform.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor in science (Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics).
• Excellent Linux skills.
• Good skills in: PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, AJAX, BASH Scripting, C++, Postgres and MySQL.
• Knowledge and interest in Very Large Databases architectures using Map Reduce.

Duration

Minimum 3 and maximum 9 months internship.

Location

The candidate will work on our office named Pi. Our headquarters in Via Nepal, 29 Rome, Italy. Memopal offers incredible and unique working environment that aggregates the most talented engineers. Open- door, relaxed but work hard atmosphere. Located in the green area of EUR.

IT12 Solutions Delivery Internship

Memopal is looking for a Junior Solutions Delivery Engineer to work in team with the Business Development manager to deliver our dedicated cloud storage solutions to large enterprise, OEM manufacturers, ISP and Telco. The candidate will customize our solutions, develop new components and provide pre-sales and post-sale support.

Ideal candidates are young graduates in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, interested in acquiring world-class skills scaling internationally a fast-growing business. Acquiring skills in clustering, cloud computing, cloud storage. Career opportunity available after internship.

• Delivery of our customized solutions.

• Very good writing skills in English and Italian and optionally French.

Memopal is looking for a freelance or in-house experienced Web Engineer to work on developing and maintaining our web applications.
Ideal candidates graduates in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, with at least 3 years of relevant business experience.
